How do I hire the hockey field?

You can hire the hockey field through our online booking calendar under the 'Turf Hire Booking' tab on the header.

How much does it cost to hire the field?

  • Training full field seniors - $100/hr

  • Training half field seniors - $60/hr

  • Training full field juniors - $50/hr

  • Training half field juniors - $30/hr

  • Competition senior hire - $150/hr

  • Competition junior hire -$105/hr

  • School training/ gala days - FREE

  • School competition hire - $80/hr

  • Individual casual hire - $10/hr

    • $15/hr with lights and water​

Does SHInc have any hockey teams?

Shoalhaven Hockey Incorporated is not the association with which hockey clubs register to play in the hockey competitions held at the Shoalhaven field. Hockey clubs are affiliated with Illawarra South Coast Hockey Association (ISCH). ISCH clubs use the Shoalhaven Hockey Centre for games in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven competitions.

How do I join a team that plays here?

Shoalhaven Hockey Centre is the home turf for the local Shoalhaven hockey competition played on Thursday and Friday nights. Please contact the ISCH Shoalhaven Field Hockey Competition Committee by emailing shoalhavenfhc@ihockey.com.au with your expression of interest to join a team playing in this competition. Teams in this competition include Allsorts, Berry, Jamberoo, Shoalhaven Heads and Warilla.

You can also join a team playing in the Illawarra competition which includes games played in North Nowra, Albion Park, Unanderra and Wollongong. Please visit the ISCH website for contact details of clubs and further information on competitions.
