Shoalhaven Hockey Incorporated (SHI) is the Lessee of Bernie Regan Sporting Complex hockey facility in North Nowra. SHI is the association responsible for the management and maintenance of the hockey facility. The water based synthetic hockey pitch was built by Shoalhaven Hockey in conjunction with Shoalhaven City Council. Stage 1 of the facility construction was a $2.4 million project completed for play in late April 2011.

The Shoalhaven hockey field in north Nowra is used for the Illawarra South Coast Hockey's (ISCH) Shoalhaven Competition and part of the Illawarra competition. Shoalhaven Hockey centre is the home turf for Shoalies and Basin North in the Illawarra competitio and the home turf for Allsorts, berry, Jamberoo, Shoalhaven Heads and Warilla in the Shoalhaven competition.

The facility located at West Cambewarra Rd in North Nowra hosts weekly competition rounds, gala days, school competitions, development clinics, introductory hockey 'Come and Try' days and hockey tournaments.
